There’s No Good Place to Keep a Giant Squid Puppet: an experiment
At Hampshire College, the Division 3 stage is a chance for students to do work and research that has never been done before. We use skills and resources we’ve built over the past three years to create a wholly independent project that is the culmination of our artistic and academic learning.
There are no restrictions to what we are able to explore, only guidelines of concepts and inquires to hold and apply to our individual project. Simply put: one can explore and answer any questions – but why does it matter? Why should we care?
The purpose of the Division 3 independent project is to demonstrate to oneself and the academic committee that our interests can create something tangible and applicable to our world.
